is the perfect time to start your #PROM2018 experience. By shopping early you
will have the first pick at all the new styles being delivered daily. Prom
experts will also tell you, buying your dress before the busy prom season helps
beat the rush. At French Novelty, you'll have access to our fully stocked

Be the
first to register the dress! The stylist at French Novelty want to ensure
you have a wonderful #PROM2018. We take the time to register each dress sold in
our showroom. What that means for you as a client is, if another student from
your school tries to buy the same dress for the same event, our stylist are
alerted and we can deter two girls from showing up in the same dress. Because
of the nature of internet sales, we can only offer this special service in our
showroom. Please keep in mind, we have no control over what other's buy online
or at other stores, but we do our best to help eliminate the stress of having
an unwanted twin on prom night.

End of the year markdowns!!! Hundreds of Spring 2018 dresses are coming in daily. Our
stylist have to make room for all the new merchandise, so..... that means you will
find some of the best sales of the year going on now as we markdown styles from
previous seasons!

Start
saving early. Prom can be expensive. The dress
is often the biggest expense associated with prom, in addition to all the
accessories, shoes and undergarments. By purchasing these additional items with
your dress, you may be able to score a discount or package deal on some
accessories. At French Novelty, we offer special deals and promotions from time

inspiration! Look for ideas online, in magazines
and social media to get inspiration for what styles and colors you like. Bring
pictures of what you are searching for to the showroom. When you arrive, our

Be open
minded. Don't form
an opinion of a dress until you try it on. So many young ladies make the
mistake of overlooking a spectacular dress because of how it looked hanging on
the rack. A dress looks totally different on your body and by stepping outside
your comfort zone, you might be surprised at what looks good on you.

Know
before you go! Our stylist are experts at finding the perfect
dress, but as a young consumer it is so empowering to know what you are
purchasing. Start by familiarizing yourself with bodice styles, silhouettes and
fabric choices. It can be overwhelming, but knowing the difference between
satin, taffeta or jersey will help you articulate what you want for your prom
dress.

Be prepared. Before coming to the showroom, make sure you are well rested and have
eaten. Bring your shoes along if you have them. This helps the client walk in
the dress, visualize where the dress hemline will fall and see if the garment
will need alterations. In some cases, going with a slightly higher heeled shoe
will help eliminate the extra cost of having the dress altered. An insider tip
when looking at hemlines, stand on a hard surface in your shoes, not carpet.
You will get a more accurate idea of the dress length.
Deciding
on the perfect dress comes down to what you feel your best in. Consider the
opinions of your friends and family but ultimately, it's your special night.
Don't get discouraged if you can't find a dress on the first store visit. Our
